Do you seriously expect me to put my husband’s needs before my child’s?! He is perfectly capable of looking after himself!

Join Leah to unravel why putting your husband first can bring endless joy to your marriage. It’s hard to hear but it will cause a huge shift for the better in your marriage!

Leah’s Points to Ponder:

  • The level of stress in our lives is so high because we don’t have clarity on what our priorities are.
  • Tune in at 10:26 to hear some mindboggling Torah sources on why we should put our spouses first- eek!
  • Differentiate between what’s important versus what is urgent.
  • A child’s soul knows no greater pleasure than watching parents look after each other.
  • Making each other the number 1 priority brings blessing. There is blessing where there is shalom.
  • Even if we prioritize our husband in areas he isn’t aware of, on a spiritual level it changes us into a better wife.
  • A wife should never disagree with her husband in front of the kids
    • When they see their mother elevate their father, especially when she disagrees, it profoundly teaches them self-mastery.
  • There is always a way to prioritize him even when caring for children’s urgent needs. If a child is in the bath, calling out: “Hi darling, I’m just bathing the kids but I’ll be down soon, I left a drink on the table for you,” can show our husband he is our priority even if we can’t physically make him our priority in that moment.
  • There is a level of closeness and contentment available from simply prioritizing our husband.
