It feels like my husband stopped giving to me the moment we stepped out from under the Chuppa!

Join Leah and learn the secret of how the issue is not always how our husband gives but rather how we receive. Listen in at 09:27 to learn a deep, insightful lesson on receiving from a story about… a cat! (This is not a mistype!) So, PAWS for a short while, and listen in to understand PURfectly!

Leah’s Points To Ponder:

  • How our husband can give to us is dependent on how we can receive from him. This is life changing. When we receive effectively, more bracho(blessing) comes into our life.
  • A husband desperately desires his wife to be happy. There may be blocks which make it seem otherwise, but husbands are designed to want to give to their wife.
  • 5 steps to becoming a good receiver:
  • Thanking him for whatever small thing he says or does, we can never thank enough!

Get creative with different ways of thanking.

  • Listening deeply. We’re so busy doing (or thinking of what we want to say!) we don’t sincerely listen to our husband. True listening represents true caring.
  • Anticipating his feelings and preparing for them to prioritize him and his needs.
  • Putting shalom(peace) first. If there is any small way we can reduce strife in our lives or in other’s lives, it is incumbent that we do so. Peace is more important than being right. Never say: “I told you so!”
  • Showing approval through praise. There is no limit to how much praise a wife should give her husband.
